Scope

These terms apply to visits to this website, reading or sharing publications, and contact with The Intelligence Covenant Institute. They do not replace separate engagement terms of NIC Advisory B.V.

Paid briefings, scans, sprints or other engagements are always governed by the relevant proposal or agreement.

Entities and roles

Stichting The Intelligence Covenant Institute is the public and editorial foundation of the Institute. NIC Advisory B.V. is the separate commercial advisory practice for briefings, scans and sprints.

NIC, short for The New Intelligent Covenant, is the shared conceptual framework. It is not a separate legal entity and not a guarantee, certification mark or contract. The foundation and the B.V. share an intellectual basis, but have different roles.

Use of the site

This site provides public information, essays and editorial analysis. The content is for general orientation and does not constitute legal, financial, technical or organisational advice for a specific situation.

Advisory engagements

A commercial engagement starts only after a written proposal or agreement with NIC Advisory B.V. That agreement sets the concrete scope, planning, responsibilities, fees and terms. If this page and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement prevails.

Independence

Commercial engagements may surface practical questions, but they do not buy an editorial position, conclusion or publication. Relevant conflicts of interest are disclosed where needed. More is set out in the editorial standards.

Copyright and citation

Unless stated otherwise, copyright in publications, text and design belongs to Stichting The Intelligence Covenant Institute or the named author. Quoting and linking is permitted with clear attribution and a link to the original publication.

The site links to external sources and platforms such as Substack, LinkedIn, X and YouTube. We are not responsible for the content, availability or data processing of those external services.
