Who is responsible
This notice applies to the websites of Stichting The Intelligence Covenant Institute. For privacy questions, contact info@icinstitute.eu.
When you contact us about a commercial briefing, scan or sprint, NIC Advisory B.V. may process your data to handle that request. Stichting The Intelligence Covenant Institute and NIC Advisory B.V. have different roles, while working from the same NIC framework.
What data we process
This website processes as little personal data as possible. During a normal visit, technical data may be processed, such as IP address, browser information, visited pages and time of visit. When analytics or tracking is used, we use it for usage insight, content improvement and reach measurement within the selected cookie settings.
We also process data you provide yourself, for example when you email us, make an advisory request, or subscribe to The Intelligence Brief through Substack.
Why we process data
We use data to answer your message, assess a request, prepare a possible business relationship, keep the website secure, and meet administrative or legal obligations. Depending on the situation, processing is based on consent, performance of a contract, or legitimate interest.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed, for example with hosting, email or administrative service providers, with Substack when you subscribe there, or with professional advisers when reasonably necessary.
Retention and rights
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, unless a legal retention obligation applies. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent.
If you believe we are not handling your data carefully, you can contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
